Giant’s Causeway hosted two stars from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter on Tuesday as James and Oliver Phelps visited the natural wonder.
Now and loved to play twins Fred and George Weasley in the critically acclaimed franchise, the couple posted several photos from their visit to the North Coast on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old actors from Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham walked to the famous basalt columns marveling at the beauty spot of Co Antrim on their road trip to Northern Ireland.
Writing on Instagram, James Phelps said: âLegend has it that this place was built by a giant who was going to fight another giant.
âIf you ever get the chance please check this place out, it is beautiful and unlike anything I have ever seen. A big thank you to Diane who also gave us a little history lesson.
Brother Oliver added, âAs the geology and places to see go the Giant’s Causeway is a must see. Obviously, you have to stop at the wish chair.
The stunning scenery and real-life âmagicâ of Giant’s Causeway caused some fans of the actors to joke that the location looked like it could be a scene from one of the eight films in the series.
The actors were only teenagers when they took on the role of the Weasley twins in the blockbuster movie franchise.
Making more than £ 7 billion worldwide, the franchise is the third biggest taker in the world, only beaten by the Star Wars movies and the Marvel Universe.
Six of the eight films were also nominated for a total of 12 Oscars.
