Next month will mark an incredible 20 years since the release of the first Harry Potter film.

The anniversary of the iconic films starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint will see fans around the world celebrate the occasion.

Despite 20 years since the release of the first film, books and films still have strong and cult following.

Daniel, Emma and Rupert starred in blockbuster movies

Many fans around the world will be celebrating the anniversary with different activities, but most are eager to see what their favorite stars will do to mark the occasion.

According to The Mirror, there are rumors that the cast will meet to mark the anniversary on November 4th.

Unfortunately for fans, Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, has already excluded himself from the celebrations.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, he said he should “disappoint” fans who are hoping to see him return to the Potter cast – if one is on the cards, it is.

He said, “I’m in the Dominican Republic right now filming and then I’m going to be busy sort of working on songs until the end of the year.

“So yeah, I don’t know. I’m sure there will be some kind of celebration but I don’t know if we’ll get together or anything.

“I’m sorry if this is a bit of a disappointment for someone.”

The other members of the famous trio, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, are expected to attend the reunion.

Other festive events include a number of special programs to commemorate the anniversary.

Special film screenings are scheduled to take place in cinemas across the UK and Ireland from October 29.
