Harry Potter-Derived “Fantastic Beasts 3” Throws Gay Joke Thread, Targets JK Rowling, Entertainment News

JK Rowling’s latest “Harry Potter” spinoff has released its title and release date.

The film will be titled “Fantastic Beasts 3: Secrets of Dumbledore”.

Based on the life of one of the most important characters in the Harry Potter franchise, Dumbledore, the film’s title elicited a unique reaction from internet users. Many joked that the film would show Dumbeldore as gay and the film would reveal the secret to his sexuality.

Then there was an avalanche of gay jokes and rumors about the titular wizard and Head of Hogwarts. The subject of this speculation is rooted in previous statements by JK Rowling that some say she made to appear “awake”. Weeks after the announcement of his book Harry Potter in 2007, the author declared that Dumbledore was gay, although the books themselves offer no clue as to the wizard’s sexuality. Additionally, she suggested that Dumbledore had previously had a same-sex relationship with Gellert Grindlewald, who appears in the “Fantastic Beasts” movies. However, none of the movies mentioned it either.

JK Rowling has been criticized for inserting an “awake” subtext in her stories when in fact they had no such mention in the books. She had also said that there was at least one Jewish wizard at Hogwarts and that Hermoine may have been black despite the author describing her as a white girl in her books. JK Rowling shatters the myth around the origin of the Harry Potter series and its characters

The author of Harry Potter is no longer in the good books of the trans community after opposing gender neutral languages, arguing that it “erases” the concept of sex and therefore femininity. Since then, she has received death threats from trans activists and faced backlash online from many of her fans.

Meanwhile, the new spin-off film “Fantastic Beasts 3: Secrets of Dumbledore” will be released on April 15, 2022. The film franchise has been adapted from a guide to magical creatures in the world of Harry Potter. This one was released in 2001 and served as a prequel to the main Harry Potter story.
