GMB’s Ben Shephard “unrecognizable” as “young Sirius Black” in Harry Potter

Good Morning Britain host Ben Shephard shared a glimpse of his role in Harry Potter – something many fans may not have realized because he looks like a completely different person.

The 46-year-old presenter has appeared in several Harry Potter films as a mustached wizard with shoulder-length chestnut locks.

Weather presenter Laura Tobin had appeared on the famous Diagon Alley at Harry Potter Studios today as she mentioned Ben’s appearance in the Magic Movies.

“I rarely talk about it, as you know Laura, but I had a part,” Ben joked. “But what’s exciting is that I thought it would be a good thing to have a mustache. It really wasn’t – it’s the most irritating thing in the world.

“We’ve had the whole debate, haven’t we, about the beard on the air,” said Kate. “I’m so glad you [froze] this moment because I’ve watched this movie so many times to try and see it in it and I’m still not convinced you were!

“You are beautiful like that, however! With long hair!

Ben said, “A young Sirius Black, I look like!”

“But oddly enough, Laura, if you’ve played a part, the crew in any of the movies – and I’ve been fortunate enough to do a number of them – you’ve got a wand in Ollivanders, who’s behind you. You actually have a wand in the wand store! Did you find mine?

She promised, “So we’re allowed in but I’m not allowed to touch the chopsticks, so I’ll go find him!”

It comes in the middle of a chaotic morning for Kate after her phone alarm went off twice, leaving her deeply embarrassed.

As they began to discuss the COP26 summit, an alarm went off as Ben stopped speaking and raised his eyebrows.

“It’s Kate’s phone,” he said pointedly.

Kate gasped as she rummaged under the papers on the desk, “It’s not possible!” It’s not my phone, is it?

But Ben said, “You’re probably sitting on it.”

“Am I?” Kate turned in her seat and realized he was there. “It’s really embarrassing.”

Ben joked, “Is your alarm to wake you up?”
