With seven books and eight films in the original Harry potter series, each fan at one point made the difficult (or maybe not so difficult) choice to pick their favorite Harry potter story. Do you love early works for nostalgia and don’t worry about how old-fashioned they get? Or do you prefer these latest films for their depth, granularity and emotion while managing to incorporate a lot of heart and humor?
Anyway, if you haven’t thought of Harry potter movie is your favorite, you might want to do it now – just so you can compare it to the favorite Harry Potter movie himself, Daniel Radcliffe.
Daniel Radcliffe’s Favorite Harry potter movie
The actor revealed the answer in a video of Wired, and he technically doesn’t have one favorite movie, but two. So, prepare your answer in your head now, and let’s see if you and Daniel Radcliffe have anything in common. Said the boy who survived:
I actually love the fifth one, which isn’t the one most people cite as one of their favorites. But I’ve worked with Gary Oldman a bunch in it. And I was sort of a little older at the time, so I was able to appreciate it better. But to watch, probably the last.
And so, know that the favorite of Daniel Radcliffe Harry potter the movies are Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II.
Having recently reviewed the series myself, the latest film is certainly remarkable. In a way it was like Avengers before having Avengers. (The Marvel movie was released in 2012, while Deathly Hallows Part II was released in 2011.) There are nuances of Avengers: Endgame well, with the way the film was presented as the very film of the century. With seven films behind it, it was really exciting to see the conclusion of such an epic saga.
As for his first response, it’s heartwarming to see Radcliffe call back The order of the Phoenix, where Gary Oldman played Sirius Black. As uncle and nephew, he and Radcliffe were a fantastic duo.
Overall, Radcliffe has two solid picks on his hands. I am part of Team Nostalgia and I prefer earlier works myself. But no matter what you choose, you really can’t go wrong. (As long as we keep Fantastic beasts out of conversation.)
