“Children of Blood and Bones” writer Tomia Deiemi has been inducted into the Harry Potter Hall of Fame in a series like Harry Potter.


Hinsdale, Illinois (WLS) – Tomia Deiemi was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame at the age of 28 and made a special return to Hinsdale Central High School on Friday.

“I feel a little shocked by all of this,” she admitted.

Graduates from Hindsdale Central and Harvard University starred on Good Morning America four years ago after signing one of the biggest book deals in history for young adult writers. About an hour after her appearance, Adieemi said she was excited and “sick”.

His fantasy series “Children of Blood and Bones” is now being filmed by Lucasfilm. Called Adieemi “a mix of Black Panther and Harry Potter”, the series celebrates its Nigerian heritage on a fictional stage. Adieemi says this story is an “epic adventure”, but ” [her] patrimony. “

“I don’t just want to shoot lightning from a hand race in the sky,” Adieemi said. “You also want to be yourself, have natural hair, and see a character with dark brown skin.”

Adieemi said she looked forward to the next chapter.
